Johnathon Markus, MD
Educations
Dr. Johnathon Markus is a private practice gastroenterologist based in Clinton Township, Michigan. He completed both his undergraduate and medical education at Wayne State University before continuing his residency training at the Cleveland Clinic. He then pursued fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital, where he further developed his expertise in gastroenterology.
Dr. Markus is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and remains actively involved in advancing healthcare through education, mentorship, and community engagement.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Markus is a proud husband and father of four wonderful children who keep his family life active and fulfilling. He is an avid Detroit sports fan and enjoys spending his free time golfing and bowling.
Dr. Markus is honored to serve on the board of CAAHP. One of his primary goals is to expand membership and strengthen mentorship opportunities within the organization. Having benefited from the guidance of many exceptional Chaldean physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals throughout his career, he is deeply committed to paying that mentorship forward. He firmly believes in CAAHP’s ability to make a meaningful impact and is enthusiastic about contributing to its continued growth and success.
