Fadi Kathawa, D.O.
Educations
Dr. Fadi Kathawa is an internal medicine resident physician at the Detroit Medical Center – Wayne State University program. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University.
Originally from Iraq, Dr. Kathawa spent 15 years in Baghdad and 5 years in Tel Keppe, gaining fluency in Arabic and Surath. Deeply connected to his roots, he remains an active member of the Chaldean community and participates in several church groups and cultural initiatives.
Throughout his academic and professional journey, Dr. Kathawa has been recognized with multiple awards and scholarships, and has contributed to research publications and poster presentations. His leadership roles and professional associations reflect his commitment to both medical excellence and community service. Outside of medicine, he enjoys social gatherings and cultural engagement.
